ALYKI AREA

ALYKI

Alyki is a beautiful coastal village with a picturesque port, located 12km south of Parikia. The village name derives from the salt pans that have been a feature of this area since ancient times. The village is highly suited for family holidays due to its clear sandy beach and the delicious fish taverns and cafes along the sea front. It is located in a small sheltered cove, well protected from the north winds offering a refuge for small boats.

LEFKES

It is the most mountainous village of Paros and the most verdurous one. Lefkes was the capital of Paros during the 19th century. The village is located under a pinewood grove on the hill.A walk around its beautiful narrow streets with the white joints will impress you. You will see the old whitewashed houses, the House of Literature, the picturesque Ramnos area, a street with taverns and shops and a wonderful view of the Aegean Sea and Naxos in the background.
